Marco is interested in developing novel synthetic routes for the synthesis and application of highly oxidazied organosulfur compound (e.g. Sulfondiimines) by use of either classical solution-based or solvent-free mechanochemical approaches. He is also interested in the development of novel carbenes and their application in (asymmetric) catalysis.
